Huey Remixed 2011: Gil Scott-Heron

On June 15, 2011 in the Bay Area (?) CA, USA, an illustration of Gil Scott-Heron in a rattan chair holding a microphone and a pencil, made by Ras Terms, was published as the cover of “Revolutionary Suicide” the Gil Scott-Heron Tribute Livication Mixtape.

PGM & Ras Terms collaborate to bring forth the iconic imagery from “Revolutionary Suicide” the Gil Scott-Heron Tribute Livication Mixtape done by DJ Child & M1 of Dead Prez, released just days after Gil’s passing (REST IN POWER COMRADE!!!) The drawing/painting done by Ras Terms of Black Diamond Shining (BDS) depicts the classic Huey P. Newton photo of him sitting in the fan chair with 2 rifles of where the title “Revolutionary Suicide” comes from (Huey P. Newton’s autobiography).
