About

The incomplete timeline of human classification is an ongoing collection of found cartographies of classificatory systems that are used in Western society. This timeline is part of ‘#0: On Classification’ and is an effort to create an historic overview of the way humans are organised and classified throughout the history of Western society. Within the category, the data is organised chronologically, by year of publishing. This collection of human classification not only presents how classification is done in history, but also how it shows its ugly head today.
